Bloom | Join our Young Entrepreneurs | Help Us Grow
Bloom needs your help so we can change the lives of more young people.
There are many ways to help: philanthropic support to back our young entrepreneurs and grow our program, corporate partnerships where our organisations can grow together and make Western Australia a better place to do business and innovate, and volunteering and sharing your expertise with our young entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs.
We need your help so we can change the lives of more young people
I’m Ella and I'm a 21 year old graduate of the University of Notre Dame (Fremantle). A year and a half ago I started my company, Gecko Steps. At Gecko Steps we run coding and robotics workshops in high schools and primary schools. I love what I do because I get to spend my days playing with robots and teaching kids how to explore, innovate and create with technology. I have been a part of Bloom for a year now and they have provided me with not only a space to work out of but also a great community of business people that have helped to guide me through my entrepreneurial journey. Bloom has been there for me all the way through my journey, supporting me and pushing me on to create bigger and better things.

We're Sandra, Jani and Emmelyn and we are recent Arts and Commerce graduates from UWA. We created Yu Consultants in October 2015 after competing in a startup consulting competition hosted by Bloom, and we have not looked back since.
We provide tailored creative services for local businesses and startups. Our team is now 5 strong and we are working with businesses to help them with their digital marketing, business development and accessing Asian markets. We love what we do because we get to combine our creative talents and shared interests and work together both as friends and business partners.
Bloom has provided us not only the opportunity to start a business together, but the working space, services and community to support us in running it.
Bloom in a amazing initiative that helped me become interested in entrepreneurship, where I hadn't even considered it as a possibility before. Bloom is helping people like me realise that they can affect change in the world now, not later.
