Our Programs

Bloom’s Schools Programs are aimed to bring entrepreneurship and innovation into the classroom. Innovation and important skills that come from running a business are skills students can utilise in other learning. Our programs are also delivered by young leaders and entrepreneurs that have personal experience .

Our programs include panel discussions with Perth's change-makers, tailored classroom session targeted toward specific entrepreneurship skills.

2022 Program Highlights

  • Country Week

Bloom hosted an Innovation Camp during Country Week with BCGS which five students and two staff attended. One student will be attending West Tech Fest to present his idea at the Young Entrepreneur Showcase. He will be a resident at St Catherine’s next year (and attending UWA) and is keen for further involvement in Bloom (use of the co-working space, possible involvement in Launchpad and/ or Shine).

  • Perth College Program

Bloom ran a program with Year 8 Perth College students to help them design a business related to a Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) that they were passionate about. The aim of the business was to then donate profits to a charity in the chosen SDG. The students ran a Market Day at the end of the program where they sold their products and got to learn the hands on skills to build a business from the ground up and then take it to market.

  • Nagle Catholic College with Aspire UWA

Nagle Catholic College with Aspire UWA

In collaboration with Aspire UWA, Bloom presented a workshop to a group of students from Nagle Catholic College about entrepreneurship and innovation. Students learned about the design thinking process through a number of activities and came up with many innovative solutions to problems they noticed existed in their communities. One group came up with an idea to introduce workshops for students at younger ages that teach about critical life skills and careers.

Enriching the minds of our future leaders.

Bloom’'s school programs provide curriculum tailored workshop sessions to young students. Workshops are presented by motivated young entrepreneurs who aim to bring innovation and entrepreneurship into the classroom.
